? on anti rollbar with leaf springs

My car is a 69 nova with caltracs and split mono leafs and i am getting a 10 point chromolly cage installed by the chassis shop and he said that i should not install a anti roll bar with my suspension what do you guys think. The car will be a low 9 to high 8 second car with a 28x 10 slick. Some people told me to run one and i have the chassis shop telling me no and he is well known in the drag racing world. I am confused Thanks in advanced.
