11.25:1 with iron heads is alot for a turbo application! Are you going to intercool it? What fuel? Are you going to run a blowthrough carb? The carb you have wont work unless modified... I'd stick with the spray until you can afford a better setup with lower compression if I were you.

if your budget only allows a kit like that in that price range, then i would not go turbo.

Also the notion of running 6psi sounds good in theroy, but trust me, you'll be at 15 to 20 in no time. Boost is highly addicting and the turbo thing is more then just buying an offshore turbo kit from ebay. You need to address cam, compression, carb, converter and gearing in addition to adding a turbo.

and then a bigger turbo . then you start to think hey my 40 yr old chassis AND BLOCK cant possibly handle 1000 +hp ,then you make deals with the devil, oh yeah dont forget the drive shaft and the fact that all you originally wanted to do was a cheap 6PSI turbo thing , oops grenading motors can make you buy real race stuff .next thing you know your POS is running so fast that tech officials corral you after the second pass cause they thought the first pass was a timing error or a leaf blew through the lights. then pull out your advanced et lic., chassis cert and show em that you were actually legal to run that fast!!!!! JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE THE HUB CAPS OFF !!!!
