Hey guys I'm new to the site. I'm a gear head like everyone else. I just recently rebuilt my chevy 406ci myself as always. I put 210 AFR aluminum heads, and Lunati solid roller cam, lunati roller rockers, and lunati roller lifters in. I went up to the track and I wasn't hard on it for the first pass and it ran a 13.4 shifting at 5200rpm in the 1/4. Second pass I was full out and a 13.6 shifting at 6000rpm. I should be getting alot more out of this, so what the hell is going on???????? With the same motor but iron gm heads and hydro cam I ran consistent 12.9's. I figured with the new mods I should be in the high 11's.
Please help, I'm so depressed with this. The new mods were from both AFR heads and Lunati cams to match my combo.
