 Post subject: gm truck heater problems ?

anyone hear problems with heat switches in mid 2000's chevy trucks?? mine and my son in laws 05 avalanches keep losing the heat , blowing cold air . as if the heater valve is stuck closed .
mine did it one nite last week then went back to working fine , his keeps acting up .
looked underhood and don't see a valve in the hoses so i assume its under dash ?

its most likely what they call a temp actuator on these trucks. sell them everyday. if you want send me the last 8 digits of the vin number and ill tell you the part # to put in them. let me know,wayne at wayne98@hotmail.com best to email me im never on here,
