My lifter cutout/band has 35-40thous of the band/cutout showing at base circle.. Im getting oil to most all lifters priming with a 400rpm drill.I noticed it took awhile for it to start oiling much to the driver last rocker which is #5 on sbf...I wondered if thats just because of the rpm on the drill.I have a hard time trying to figure out ' where to just cut the notch from the oil hole to band first and try it or do the cuts on each side like comp is doing.Crower said 35-40 thous of the band showing is more than enough to get oil through..Terry Manton said all he would do is the cut from the oil hole to the band with a thin drimel cutoff wheel..said 3-5 thous would be fine...He said by doing this that it would keep the pushrod ends from burning up.... thanks
