Tony, he has them on his wifes FB page.

What's up Rob, Maple grove cancelled out didn't they ?

Maple Grove did this past Saturday yes but a lot of racers said they were happy they did. Sounds like some of us just can't deal with the heat anymore and racing.

Morning folks

Rob, it doesn't matter to me if they closed or not, but you sound like my buddy. He kept saying "I've raced in hot weather before", well so have I, but how can you say you've raced in weather that hot when it was record temps, it had never been that hot here before. :D

Cecil and MIR stayed open, Capitol, 75-80, Atco and Maple Grove all closed.

Yeah, that is Tommy Stalba's race this weekend. I'm going to the footbrake race in August.

Tommy's race is awesome. I have never actually raced in it but have attended. Lot's of good racing and lots of good parties. They got rain last night and today is not looking good.

What's your friends name?

Gordon Herman is the name he'll put on the tech card but he goes by Lindy, he has a blue RaceTech dragster with graphics.

Hello!

I hope we get some rain.

Ran the car Saturday. Def a bit diffeerent racing a street car rather than a race car. The car went 13.00 deep staged. I'm ordering a set of drag radials today as i was spinning awful bad. We all had fun and it was good to be at the track again.

. . . and so it begins, first it's a set of drag radials, then maybe some gears, headers and exhaust, intake, super charger, big fuel pump, big injectors, nitrous, roll bar, get rid of some of the weight by stripping the ac, spare tire and back seat, add a glass hood . . . . . :D

Elle I'll be doing Atco's $10k as well, then American Muscle has their big car show Sunday, but I have to also leave for Nashville on that day as well, later in the day.

got the notchback aligned after a new close ratio rack install and hit the hightstown police nite out car show last nite
car handles better but racks a little stiff yet? :driving2:

debating a new engine build for the race car , n/a stroker , big block or a turbo or supercharged 302? :mad2:

Lou, he lost 2nd round in every race

Tony, I guess the engine decision would have to take into account what else you wanted to change and how fast you want to go. If you go to a big block then you're getting new headers (exhaust ?), transmission (or just a bellhousing) and front springs. Then depending on how fast you want to be you need to start looking at safety equipment, gear changes, etc.
