ed vs the wall, it wasnt pretty. need some help!

Post by ed hess »

Ed zero Wall one.

Neck muscles feeling better today than last nite. between the neck collar and now that i am wearing a full face helmet I think my neck would have hurt more if I only had my old open face helmet and neck collar on.

I had a hard time getting to sleep last nite. kept going over removeing everything from one truck frame to another which will be worst case. nothing worse than wanting to go to sleep and your brain wants to start a rebuilding plan with step by step details. lol :)

Monday it goes to my body guy, just need to peel the carnage off so he can access measuring points. Hopefully he can either straighten it or section it.

what happened: got out of shape pretty far out 100ft or more. They said i got out of shape in the same place that the oil spill had occured earlier. thought i had it saved, but then apparently it had gotten on the slicks sidewalls and even though the rims were srewed to the tires, the passenger rear deflated. I actually thought it was over and saved for a moment and i guess when going on the brakes once more the tire was delfated the rear came around again
but this time uncontrollably and into the wall it went.

on the lighter side, we got pretty good weight transfer from the recent changes to front coil over setup and at least i only messed up one side of the truck, :) but for the most part physically I am ok. mentally i will feel better when the damage is fully acessed and i have a plan in place.

I the meantime just in case i need one later.

LOOKING FOR A 87-92 S10 PICKUP SHORTBED.

(blazer frames will not work)

4WD OR 2WD. ANY CONDITION OR EQUIPMENT AS LONG AS FRAME IS STRAIGHT.

anybody that knows somebody with a truck please put the word out there for me.

Ed, I am truely sorry to hear about the accident. A friend of mine was at the track and told me about it. The most important part is that you are ok.

What happened in the pic in your signature?

Ed this sucks. I know how bad you were looking forward to getting some testing in. I'm just so glad you're okay. Let us know if you need anything.

the newer body style frame wont work.

must be s10 pickup only, 2wd or 4wd, and shortbed only

I will see if I can talk my brother into selling his. He isn't doing anything with it and Id like to see someone get some use out of it rather then letting it rust away
