Horrible ass game with all of those unnecessary penalties called against both teams. They need to let them PLAY THE GAME.It ruined the game how many penalties were called.

Its annoying to be stopping the game every 2 minutes to call a penalty.

I agree w/ Frylok....I wish the Ref's would stick their Whistle's up their ass's. It's Playoff Hockey, I hate when the Ref's control the outcome of a game.

the flyers had jusat as much of a chance to lose from the calls...so dont make excuses for your team that clearly got outplayed every game but 1.....

now the big question is...what does marty do?...... :hay:

really?! the Flyers were in the box just as much as the Devils ... i'm pretty sure they lost due to a lack of goals scored and a lack of team effort, not to mention that I think Marty's lost his touch unfortunately ...

we gave the Devils a challange and we came out on top, and Boosh pulled through for us, idk where he was during the season but it matters more now and i couldn't be happier :)

Kelly your man is putting on a show tonight but I am afraid that Geroux has a concussion. He's had them before and that chump hit from behind had him seeing stars. We can't lose any more guys.

I know he's been on fire which is great!!! :)
About Giroux, I hear ya, I hope now though he's a great player and we'd surely miss him in the playoffs ... ugh I know that hit was a bit much ... I'm just happy that Leighton came back in like he hasn't been out for the past two months, that was a nice suprise!

GO FLYERS!!!!!

they are saying giroux is gonna play wed

Flyers Injury Update: Giroux Expected to Play

Flyers forward Claude Giroux was tested for a concussion Tuesday, sources told CSNPhilly.com. Giroux, who was boarded hard late in the second period of Game 5 by Boston’s Steven Begin, would not confirm the base line test.

When asked what his status was for Game 6, Giroux told CSNPhilly.com via text, “I’m not too sure yet. We’ll know more tomorrow.”

General manager Paul Holmgren said he expects Giroux to play in Game 6. The only other concern now is the condition of Giroux's left shoulder.

“It’s more of a shoulder hit,” Holmgren said. “But obviously the way he finished into the glass, it looked more dangerous.”

That hit was the beginning of what would become rampant chippiness by the Bruins in the final period.

“It’s a dangerous hit and this time of year, there’s a lot at stake and you see it frequently,” Holmgren said. “Is it a late hit? By the standards we use, probably not because things happen pretty quickly out there.”

As expected, the news on goalie Brian Boucher wasn’t good. Holmgren said Boucher has a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee and will miss at least a month. For all practical purposes, his season is over.
